The North Star
Use high quality bitters for this full-flavored cocktail - they elevate the floral notes of the other ingredients.
1 oz. Tait Farm Spiced Apple Shrub
2 oz. pear brandy
2 oz. sparkling wine
1 sugar cube
3 - 5 dashes aromatic bitters
Place sugar cube in a flute. Add bitters; set aside. Add brandy and shrub to a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into flute. Top with sparkling wine. Garnish with an orange twist.
