This cocktail delivers a lot of fruit-forward flavor, underpinned by the sweet heat of jalapeño simple syrup.
2 oz. Vodka
3/4 oz. Tait Farm Raspberry Shrub
1 oz. jalapeño simple syrup (recipe below)
2 oz. club soda
1 lemon wedge and 1 orange wedge
In a shaker, muddle fruit and fill with ice. Add vodka, shrub, syrup and shake. Strain into a martini glass. Top with club soda and garnish with a lemon twist.
Jalapeño simple syrup: Combine 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water, and one sliced jalapeño pepper in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir until sugar dissolves. Cool and strain before using.
