Raspberry Harissa Appetizers
Sweet and heat blend seamlessly to make this vibrant dipping sauce.
INGREDIENTS 1 jar of Tait Farm Raspberry Jam 3 - 4 Tbs. of Harissa Sauce pinch of salt to taste Combine Jam with Harissa and add salt to taste. WAYS TO SERVE: Bacon wrapped water chestnuts: wrap water chestnuts in a half strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place in a baking dish as a single layer. Bake at 375° until bacon is crisp (about 25 min.). Brush with Raspberry Harissa and return to oven for 10 min. Fried Mini Brie: dip mini brie in beaten egg and then into breadcrumbs. Fry in butter or oil until golden. Top with a spoonful of Raspberry Harissa. Shrimp: Serve Raspberry Harissa as a dip for cooked shrimp. Baked Sweet Potato Rounds: choose sweet potatoes that are about 2+ inches in diameter. Peel and cut into 3/8” slices. Brush with oil and bake on parchment lined baking sheet for 20 - 30 min. until just tender. Cool and top with Raspberry Harissa. |
