Pepper Jelly Cheese & Bacon Dip
What’s not to love about warm, melt-in-your-mouth cheese, topped with crispy bacon and sweet & savory pepper jelly? This southern-style crowed-pleaser is a delectable dip addition to any gathering!
1 Jar Tait Farm Pepper Jelly (Apple or Cranberry)
8 oz. cream cheese
1 C. grated cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
6 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a shallow 2 cup baking dish. Beat together the cream cheese, salt and cheddar cheese. Stir in 1/2 jar of Pepper Jelly until it is well blended. Spread evenly in baking dish. Bake for about 30 minutes, until it is warmed through.
Spread remaining Pepper Jelly on top and sprinkle with bacon. Return to the oven for 10 minutes.
Serve warm with crackers, pita chips, or a sliced baguette.
