​Tait Farm  Agua Frescas

Agua frescas are refreshing fruit drinks made simply of fruit blended with water, lime juice and Tait Farm Lime Mint Shrub.

The best fruits for Aqua Fresca are Pineapple, Strawberries, Cantaloupe, Honeydew Melon and Watermelon (which is so juicy that you don’t need to add any water). Cucumber with fresh mint is also an amazing combination!

Ingredients:
*makes 1 serving, multiply as necessary.
 
1 cup chopped fruit (favorites include: pineapple, strawberry, cantaloupe, watermelon, and cucumber)
1 cup water, as needed (omit if using watermelon)
½ medium lime, juiced
1 – 2 oz. Tait Farm Lime Mint Shrub
Optional: 2 large mint leaves (perfect with cucumber)
 
Combine fruit, water, lime juice, Lime Mint Shrub and optional mint leaves in a blender. Purée until smooth on high. Taste and adjust to your liking, adding more lime and/or shrub, as well as water to get desired consistency.
Blend briefly again and enjoy.
