Plant Selections

The Greenhouse at Tait Farm takes its cue from the ever-changing and always inspiring seasons. From the cheerful pansies and violas that signal the arrival of spring in early March, through the hundreds of joyful mums that demand to be scooped up and taken home in October, we carefully and thoughtfully select plants of the highest quality for your garden. During the growing season, we take pride in being able to offer you a lovely selection of annuals, perennials, ornamental shrubs, trees, herbs, veggies, as a well as backyard fruit bushes and trees.

Spring has officially arrived at the farm and we are ready to welcome the new season. We have early spring flowers, including a breathtaking selection of pansies, violas, primrose and hellebores ready for planting. The first herbs and vegetable garden seedlings are also available, waiting to grace freshly turned garden beds. And don’t forget it is time to think about planting peas, spinach and radish seeds!

For those gardening enthusiasts who already have visions of vegetables, heirloom tomatoes, peppers and fruits dancing in their heads, we would like to share with you a list of the vegetables, tomatoes, peppers and fruits that we will be offering for sale in our Greenhouse for 2013. And if you are a collector of roses and would like to add to your rose garden, or if you don't currently grow roses but have secretly always wanted to, we have included a list of roses that we will be carrying in the upcoming season.
